The Italian Kenya Scouts Development Project (IKSDP) in partnership with Altrove Cooperative Society (ACS) are working to enable socio-economic competencies of a group of disadvantaged producers in Nyandiwa. Nyandiwa is found in Western Kenya, along the shores of Lake Victoria.
To achieve the above mission, IKSDP and ACS have contracted Sanabora Design House to offer technical support to the group of producers. This is so as to enable production of innovative and competitive products that target both local and export markets. Although the group has been exporting small quantities of their products to Italy, there is need to diversify both the local and international market base. The training is also tailored to enhance productivity in readiness for market expansion.
