The Leather Industry Network (LIN) Platform project was a one year undertaking by CBiT in collaboration with national leather associations in East Africa, with the support of GIZ-EAC and GFA Consulting Group.
The project set out to: promote South South COOPERATION between leather associations, by enabling them to share best practice, establish strategic partnerships and to facilitate integration; Establish a regional Digital Leather Industry NETWORKING platform towards strengthened dialogue among sector players, enhanced knowledge management and presentation of joint policy positions and; Build ADVOCACY capacity for key private sector leaders and stakeholders in the leather sector so as to create effective public-private dialogue.
